Services and Classes
Classes are now open for enrolments in Puppy Preschool and Level One Basic Manners, whilst expressions of interest are being taken for Agility for Beginners and Canine Good Citizen courses.
Puppy Preschool courses run monthly subject to enrolment, whilst our other courses run roughly in conjunction with the NSW school terms.
Classes run on either a Saturday or Sunday during the day, or a Tuesday or Wednesday evening, dependant on the specific course you are interested in. Whilst Private Consultations are offered year round and are scheduled at a time that suits you and in the comfort of your own home.
For more information on each of the courses, please see the links below.
Classes are capped at a maximum of 6 dogs, this keeps the class size small enough that each person is able to get enough one on one attention and also to ensure the dogs are not stressed or overwhelmed by large numbers of other dogs. I prefer classes to have a mix of both large and small dogs, as this helps the dogs to understand they need to get along with dogs of all sizes, not just the ones who are their size or specific breed.
To ensure the safety of all dogs, classes are run on lead with dogs only being off lead in specific circumstances, under strict supervision of the instructor at all times and are in an enclosed area. Agility for Beginners is the only class in which dogs are frequently off lead, but this is again in a specific dog safe area, under supervision and is done one at a time. Dogs must have either completed Level One Basic Manners or have been assessed by an instructor to enrol in this course.
